Currently a partner of Tassinari/Vetta office.
He teaches at the Faculty of Design and Arts
of the Iuav University of Venice and at the ISIA,
High Institute of Industrial Arts of Urbino.
Mr. Sonnoli is involved with the visual identity of private
and public companies, with the communication
of cultural events, book design, information graphics
and exhibition graphics.
Mr. Sonnoli has been awarded with a silver medal
by the Art Exhibition of Toyama, Japan and received
the “Mention of Honour” recognition at the XIX Premio
Compasso d’Oro/ADI. Other awards include
the Merit Award of the Art Directors Club of New York,
the special prize at the first China International Poster
biennal and the Golden Bee award in Moscow.
His posters are collected in several public and private
collections like the BNF and the Musée des Arts
décoratifs, Paris and the Museum of Design, Zurich.
Amongst his latest works are several books and art
catalogues for Electa publishing house.
The visual identity for a serie of instituitions
like Modern Art National Gallery of Rome,
Iuav University of Venice, 50° edition of La Biennale
di Venezia art exhibition and a typographic
installation at Palazzo Grassi in Venice.
Since 2000, Mr. Sonnoli is a member of the Alliance
Graphique Internationale (AGI), and in 2003
was elected as its Italy President and a member
of the AGI International Executive Commitee.
