Currently works at R2 Design in Porto, co-founded
with Artur Rebelo in 1995.
Mrs. Ramalho leads workshops, lectures
and currently teaches design at the Polytechnic
Institute in Porto.
She is in charge of the graphic design direction
at R2 studio, she works with several cultural
organizations, theatre companies, contemporary artists
and architects. She has contributed to a number
of international exhibitions abroad and her projects
are published in books and magazines.
She has been the recipient of prestigious prizes
acknowledging her work, including:
The 2003 International Poster Triennial gold prize
in Toyama, Japan and in the same year, the First Prize
at the Bienal Ibero-americana del Cartel, Bolivia.
In 2005, 2006 and 2007 the Type Directors Club
of New York awarded her a certificate
of typographic excellence.
