Good Suriname Exhibition
One of the best things about organising Good 50×70 is seeing just where on earth it will spring up next, whether it’s Asia, Europe or America. So we’re very, very proud to announce that the Good Suriname exhibition will open on Friday May the 1st at 11 a.m. at the Nola Hatterman Art Academy in Paramaribo.
It’s the result of a series of workshops led by two Dutch graphic designers, Jeroen ‘Shamrock’ Klaver and Borinka with 10 students from the Nola Hatterman Art Academy. Together they worked on posters addressing child labour, climate change and women’s rights. This will be exhibited together with some posters from last year’s edition of Good 50×70.
Entrance is free, and DJ Prepmaster 1 will be spinning some dope beats. You can download the invite here.
You can find more information on the Good Suriname page here.
These are the names of the students whose work will be exhibited:
Juliaan Abouna; Raimen Bijlhout; Natascha Carron; Melvio Dikang; Shaundell Horton; Paul de Jong; Leonie Mossel; Radha Ramdat Misier; Dhiradj Ramsamoedj and Roberto Tjon-A-Meeuw.
