The designers working with us on our jury, for the first time this year, generously donated posters to Good 50×70.
Some have been especially created for Good 50×70, some are recent pieces of their work. All are social communication posters. We’ve showing them in all their glory (some are available for download as well) to inspire anyone interested in social design.
This is your chance to learn from the best.

TIMO BERRY

What is right and what is wrong is a question of framing and communication, resources of those with financial might. What is troublesome, is that some have more might than others. Future does not pay for communication bills.
This poster was done to support a group of individuals opposing a nuclear power plant in Simo, northern Finland. It was done to the streets and the Simo coat of arms has salmon tails on it, thus the simple imagery.
It cost me and my wife 700 euros to print the poster. The salmon heads we got for free at the local supermarket.
EON, lobbying for the plant, has 50 billion euros to invest with. Such an uneven playground.

HIV is now a chronic disease, new medicines allow who’s affected to live an almost normal life. The challenge is now to shift the perception that people have of what it means to be HIV positive. Social communication is one way to help to fight against the ignorance and discrimination that this part of society faces.
