The catalogue of the 4^th edition of Good50x70, containing all the winning posters and the jury comments, is out for purchase and we will soon publish a new shop section for it.

A selection of the 2010 exhibition will be in Florence at the Creativity Festival from the 21^st to the 24^th of October.

Meanwhile in Nagoya Japan, The 30 best posters of this year submitted for WWF will be on show at the Convention on Biodiversity advised by WWF.

Coming back from the Istanbul Design Week where the exhibition and the wokshop on the Good50x70 project were followed with enthusiasm by the public and by students as you can see in the pictures on our Flickr profile, it is with great pleasure that we invite you to the opening of the fourth complete edition of the contest.

The 210 winning posters of Good50x70 will be exhibited twenty-four seven from 15^th to 31^st October in Piazza Cordusio e via Dante, in the heart of Milan, the city hosting this project during its entire organisation.

We would also like you to inform you that the press conference will be held on 14^th October in Milan inside Palazzo Marino in Piazza della Scala.

The event was organised under the patronage of Unesco, RAI’s Social Secretariat, Pubblicità Progresso Foundation and local institutions: Comune di Milano, Provincia di Milano and Regione Lombardia.

The exhibition was set up thanks to the technical sponsor Artigrafiche Bianca & Volte, Favini, Gruppo CSC, Loretoprint, Studiosmog, and the media partnership with Current and the collaboration with NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti di Milano.

All the posters of this year’s edition of Good50x70 are effective and interesting. Each of these works explains the briefs under a different perspective and this is the great value of Good50x70.

The seven NGOs participating in the Good50x70 project have awarded a special mention to one poster among the thirty presented for their brief. These posters have been chosen because they represent with a clear and bold message the mission of the NGOs and the issues raised by their briefs.

We hope that this fourth edition of our project will promote awareness on the need of social change and encourage critical thinking.

This year’s edition of Good50x70 will be exhibited in the Istanbul Design Week from 30th September to 2nd October. On the same dates, our organisation will hold in Istanbul a workshop on multiculturality and social progress making a comparison between life in Istanbul and other vibrant world cities.

The organisation of the Good50x70 exhibition in Milan, the inauguration event and collateral workshops is up and running. We will keep you posted on future initiatives. The inauguration programme will be available very soon on our website.

We are pleased to inform you that the 210 winning posters will be displayed in October in the heart of Milan. There will be side workshops running in the city’s leading designing schools.
In this fourth edition of Good50x70, we received 2357 posters coming from 81 countries around the world.

We hope you will join us at the inauguration party of Good50x70 on Friday 15th October to celebrate together the effort of everybody who was involved in this project.

If you wish to support Good50x70 you can also take part in the shooting of a promotional video at the StudioSMOG on Saturday 18th September from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in via Ripamonti, 7 in Milan.

A Good50x70 preview will be hosted by the Istanbul Design Week where our association will organise a workshop for students and designers.

On September 10th the 210 winning posters of the 4th edition of the contest will be announced on our website.

Each of the seven NGO involved in Good50x70 will award a special mention to one of the selected posters.

We will also announce dates and cities of the Good50x70 2010 sample exhibitions that will be hosted in different countries before the official Opening in Milan on October 22nd.

This award comes in a really busy moment for our staff but hard work is worth the while when you get such a reward. We got the impression we actually were doing “good” and this couldn’t have been possible without you. This medal made it here thanks to your ideas and your creativity.
