About
It’s the fifth year of Good50x70 and so much happened in this tiny little reality we represent in the social communication scenario. At this point we could be playing it safe and stick to the old formula but we couldn’t help making some changes, dressing up and presenting ourselves at our best. We know it’s a risk but we’re doing it for a good purpose. It’s time to celebrate five years of social graphics spread through the world, making the dream we had since the very beginning come true: opening the Good50x70 free stock imagery website. Every individual, charity or institution will be able to browse through all the posters ever designed to support a social cause and submit a license request for their potential use. The database will include Good50x70 posters since 2007 and works uploaded by users.
This project was meant to support as many social causes as possible and help charities fulfil their communication needs providing them with more suitable visuals.
Over the past years the posters have included many different interpretations of each issue addressed by the briefs, so this time we want to praise your creativity by giving you the freedom to choose your own social matter.
Some of you have been following us since the first edition and we know you have the inventiveness needed to spot and design the right message. For those who are new to the contest we will provide material to find inspiration and a social cause to work for. We can suggest your topic and the discussion can be followed on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
Every social issue matters. This year we are open to a wider range of organizations in need of effective communication. We want to cover a broader list of issues, also the ones not included in the media’s top priorities. Meanwhile we will invite all the NGOs worldwide to contribute by proposing their projects and missions. We will also encourage you to investigate their programs and see if there is some particular case you want to deal with. You can also dedicate your submission to your local charity or be inspired by a universal social perspective. Our goal, as in the past editions, is to become a link between charities and the creative community, a place where you can say something important with an image and cast it on the network. And, naturally, we want you to be part of it.
Now, look inside you: this time the good cause comes from your heart.
