We’re pleased to announce that they’re now on display in the streets of Amsterdam, together with the same four posters for the Poezenboot, MeMo, Hart Voor Amsterdam and Z.

Thanks again to Bizon Print for printing the posters and Bizon Buitenreclame for hanging them (and all the designers of course!)

We unveiled the 15 final posters, had the world premiere of the Good50×70 catalogue and designed a poster for the Leger des Heils (Salvation Army) - big up to Lava for winning that! And thanks to everyone who came through on the evening!

Just to reiterate: Z Magazine is still out in the streets of Amsterdam until the 9th of October and 4 posters will be in the streets from tomorrow.

Inside there’s a pullout featuring all of the final 15 posters and a short piece about all of the designers and the charities.

We’re very happy to announce some details of our launch party at the Pakhuis de Zwijger on 30/9.

There’ll be three main events: the unveiling of the 15 final posters; the world premiere of the Good50×70 global catalogue; and a live design battle to produce a poster for Leger Des Heils (The Salvation Army) on the night. Floor Wesseling, Lava, Mannschaft, Punchdouble and Van de Jong will all have an hour to create a design, one of which will be printed by Bizon Print and hung throughout Amsterdam by Bizon Buitenreclame. And there’ll be music. And drinks.

The exact details of the evening are still be to confirmed, but it will certainly include the official unveiling of the final 15 posters, amongst other activities related to the project. And a few drinks.

It will also be the premiere of the Good50×70 Global Catalogue 2009 in conjunction with Bis, which we’re also very excited about.

For your information, here’s the latest planning for our programme of activities:

September 25th:

Z 18 goes on sale (via Z magazine vendors) for 2 weeks. It’s a special issue of Z dedicated to GoodAmsterdam, including all 15 posters.

September 30th:

GoodAmsterdam officially launches at Pakhuis de Zwijger

October:

• A selection of GoodAmsterdam posters will be hung at 750 spots throughout Amsterdam by Bizon Buitenreclame.

• Outdoor exhibition(s) of all 15 posters to be held in Amsterdam (locations to be confirmed)

Good Amsterdam is een onafhankelijk initiatief dat iedereen in Amsterdam oproept om een poster te maken voor vijf Amsterdamse goede doelen.
De ontwerpers van de beste drie inzendingen zullen samen met een Nederlandse topcreatief verder aan hun poster werken. Daarna zullen de posters door heel Amsterdam worden gehangen en in een speciale uitgave van Z magazine worden gepubliceerd.

Het is een unieke kans voor jonge (en oude) creatieven om samen te werken met een van de beste Nederlandse ontwerpers en eigen werk te zien hangen in heel Amsterdam (met dank aan Bizon Buitenreclame).
En dit allemaal voor het goede doel. Maar tot nu weinig mensen doen mee – dus Good Amsterdam heft de deadline verlengd tot 6 mei om meer tijd te geven voor de inzendingen.
